Its death defying

It’s simply the best,
All the while heading for the worst
It was magic,
It was simply stunning,
And it was funny
While we may enjoy life
Others don’t
‘Cause they haven’t
Loved or haven’t been loved
It was like holding
A gun to my head
And I developed Stockholm’s syndrome
It was like flicking on a switch
Inside my head
I lit up with a smile
Then I turned into a grin
Life is just simply the best,
All the while heading for the worst;
As we love war,
And hate peace
We love waste,
And hate recycling
